~Friendship~

There are certain people who imprint on your life. You don't forget them. You can't, because everyday you awaken to your life, the wisdom that surrounds you echos their former friendship and the learned life lessons you shared with them-no matter how momentary they were.

The concept of friendship has been defined from everything having to do with "people who love you unconditionally and support you" to "the only people who tell you the truth, even when it hurts". But I wonder...what does God say about friends? The Bible is full of friendships. We read about, most famously, David and Jonathon. What made them so close? Was is going through the terrible series of events that held them together? Is it experience that binds two kindred spirits? Or is it destiny? Many people weave in and out of our lives, yet their are those, whom it would seem, God designed to walk beside us, while here on earth. Jane Austen wrote, "Friendship is certainly the finest balm for the pangs of disappointed love." The ones who are there for the good and there through the bad.

Friends are teachers without recognition and memories never forgotten.
